... someone PLEASE tell me I'm not the only nutcase who sees commonalities between an anime about crazy samurai and a manga about crazy bread-makers +__+;.
But, uh, yeeeah... these characters are Kawachi (in the 'fro), Suwabara (in the blue), and Azuma (flailing) from a crrrazy bread manga called "Yakitate!! Japan"... and they are playing the parts of Mugen, Jin, and Fuu (respectively) from "Samurai Champloo." I love both series sososo much TwwwT;;;. They are both wildly insane, but Really Damned Good. And, uh, BOTH actually involve scarily skilled samurai  .And here is some help for those who are EXTREMELY confused by this point... If you like senseless, but inexplicably BRILLIANT series like FLCL and, well, Samurai Champloo... then you will MUST go read Yakitate scanslations! Or... get them LATER when the website is back up >_>;;. In the meantime, join the Yakitate LJ community! And if you haven't seen Samurai Champloo yet... GET IT, FOOL!! ...it is pure genius TwwwT;;. ... Tune in next time when I pimp out Eyeshield21, the best damned manga about American football and modern weaponry... ("YA~HA~!" 9o9) |
